Water for life Community Grants - 2017 applications open!

Seqwater is seeking partners who encourage community involvement and education initiatives on catchment health, source water quality and the water cycle to apply for our Water for life Community Grants.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available to existing initiatives or new projects within our operational footprint of South East Queensland. 

Eligibility

Applicants should be an incorporated not-for-profit organisation operating in South East Queensland.

Grant initiatives must be delivered within the Local Government Area (LGA) of Noosa Council, Sunshine Coast Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Redland City Council, Brisbane City Council, City of Gold Coast, Logan City Council, Ipswich City Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Somerset Regional Council or Gympie Regional Council.

Key dates

Applications open to eligible groups on 20 March 2017 and close 1 May 2017.

Projects must be between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2018.

SEQ Water Service Providers Partnership

Working with South East Queensland water retailers and councils to optimise our performance and efficiency of the region’s water assets is central to our business.

To help drive improved performance, we established the South East Queensland Water Service Providers Partnership between Seqwater and the region’s five water retailers.

Seqwater also has a strong research and development focus with partnerships with The University of Queensland and Griffith University; and it is the host institution for the Australian Water Recycling Centre of Excellence.
